TOA Corporation UK, the leading global manufacturer of cutting-edge commercial audio and security equipment, is preparing to exhibit at ISCEx 2018, which takes place on 7th March at the historic Coombe Abbey in Warwickshire. Hosted by the Institute of Sound and Communication Engineers, ISCEx is considered the professional sound industry’s most important UK event and those working in commercial audio system design, integration, project management and sales can learn, engage and network in an intimate environment.
At ISCEx 2018 TOA will showcase some of the most recent additions to its comprehensive commercial audio solutions portfolio – many of which are being exhibited for the first time. Visitors to the TOA stand will be encouraged to get hands-on with the technology on display, while experts from the company will be on hand to demonstrate features and benefits, and answer any questions.
A focal point will be the VX-3000 – winner of the InAVation Award 2017. A cost-effective, robust, reliable and energy efficient system, which combines all of the important functions for public address and voice alarm (PA/VA) in one unit, the latest version of the VX-3000 comes with new software and functions that are EN 54 compliant. The VX-3000’s limited number of components makes design and installation much easier, saves space, reduces cable complexity, and enables rapid system configuration. Making its exhibition debut at ISC-Ex is a wall-mounted version of this system, which can be linked to the standard VX-3000 range but its compact size means it can be also used as a stand-alone unit in reception & building entrance areas. If used in a decentralised system, where the equipment is installed in electrical risers, its compact size is equally beneficial because it takes up less space within a standard 19” equipment rack.
TOA is renowned for the quality and functionality of its amplification and speaker systems. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the HA-1010-EB – a slim horn array speaker with extremely long range, it can spread the sound to over 600m and is perfect for locations including airports, skiing locations, factories, public squares or leisure parks. Meanwhile, the A-2000D is a range of high-performance mixer power amplifiers suited for broadcasting or background music, which are equipped with balanced microphone inputs for better isolation from external noise, along with power outputs from 30-240W. The new D (Digital) range offers better power efficiency and is lightweight in design.
TOA will also promote the latest developments to its popular AM-CF1 audio system for conference rooms. Incorporating the company’s proprietary array microphone technology, Bluetooth functionality, digital signal processing and two-way active speakers, it processes sound by detecting and tracking voice in real time, to make team collaboration more productive and presentations more attractive.
Ahead of the event, Ian Bridgewater, director at TOA Corporation UK, commented, ‘I’m delighted to be exhibiting at ISCEx 2018 and look forward to demonstrating why we continue to lead the way in the design and manufacture of cutting-edge audio solutions. Whether for a restaurant, sports facility, hotel, university or retail outlet, TOA’s state-of-the-art technology provides professional sound for a diverse range of built environments.’
