The Charles Konan Banny stadium, situated at the heart of the Ivory Coast, has quickly become a key component in the region's sporting and cultural development. Designed to host a multitude of events, from sports competitions to concerts and public gatherings. This modern stadium is equipped to offer participants and spectators an unmatched experience, thanks to its state-of-the-art facilities and commitment to quality and safety.

A recent upgrade of its sound system was undertaken to ensure the highest standards are met, both in terms of sound clarity and compliance with safety requirements. This significant project was realized by our technical integrator, Technic Adress (FR).

Here are the technical components integrated into this installation at the Yamoussoukro stadium:

Infrastructure:
The installation is organized around 5 bays of 42 units (600x600), designed to house and secure all the electronic equipment essential for the sound system's proper functioning.

Electronic Components:
The amplification system consists of 14 frames of VX-3004F, composed of 40 VX-050DA and 12 VX-015DA, selected for their reliability and capacity to provide sound power suited to the stadium's dimensions. 11 VX-3000DS safety power supply units, backed by 22 100AH batteries, ensure continuous system operation, even in the event of a primary electrical network failure. Network and data management is facilitated by 5 IES 2042 switches, enabling a smooth and secure distribution of audio signals throughout the stadium.

Loudspeakers:
The core of the sound system relies on 40 modular HX7 speakers, designed for optimal sound adaptation and reach in large open spaces. 24 Alpha 7530EN speakers and 8 B1-15 bass cabinets are strategically placed to enrich sound depth and quality, ensuring every note and announcement clearly reaches the audience. A combination of 70 CS-64BS sound projectors and 80 PC 2369EN ceiling speakers complete the installation, ensuring uniform and detailed sound coverage in all stadium sections.

This reference once again proves the great cooperation with all stakeholders. Thanks to a high level of cooperation between the stadium, the installer and the manufacturer, the project was successfully implemented: the integration of a high-quality sound system that secures the role of the Yamoussoukro stadium as a first-class venue in Côte d'Ivoire.
